The DHS Theater Department will be presenting Suessical, Jr on Friday, June 12 at 7pm in the High School Auditorium. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the DHS International Thespian Society Troupe.
The production is a culmination of a week long theater camp run by the DHS theater students. It will feature High School students in the main roles, as well as camp participants in grades 3rd-8th in the chorus.
The camp participants have spent the week learning about all aspects of theater including acting, singing, dancing, lighting, make-up, props & costumes. The camp has been run entirely by DHS students, under the direction of Theater Director Robin Hunt.
Seussical is a compilation of many of Dr. Seuss's memorable characters and stories, and centers around that of Horton the Elephant. Find out what happens to all of these colorful characters on a trip with the Cat in the Hat!
