The Schedule for 9/28 @ Geneseo

9/25/2013

12:30pm - Rehearsal begins in stadium. Please eat lunch before arrival
1:45pm – Trailer Crew and Shark Crew Arrive
2:00pm-load trailers, relax, eat snack
2:15pm-chaperones arrive
2:30pm-depart for Geneseo
4:30pm-arrive Geneseo - unload trailers and put together props. Kids eat dinner at concessions.
6:15pm – Pit Crew Arrive
6:30pm – Guard Crew Arrive
7:15pm - Performance
7:45pm - Awards (band will stay in uniform)
Post awards – get out of uniform (uniform helpers arrive)
10:30pm-back at DHS / Unload Trailers

D Squared Multimedia will be filming the competition at Geneseo and will have DVDs for sale.

If you would like to send it in and not have to find them on Saturday download the form and send in.

12:30pm-rehearsal begins on the DHS field. Please arrive so you are ready to go, on the field at 12:30pm
2:00pm-load trailer and have snack, relax
2:15pm-Chaperons arrive
2:45pm-Buses and Trailers pulling out of DHS
~3:45 pm - Arrive Illinois Wesleyan - Trailer unload at arrival
6:00 pm - Guard helpers arrive at
6:30pm-performance
~6:45pm (or immediately following performance if delayed) Uniform Helpers meet at Trailers
9:15pm-awards
10:45pm-back at DHS unload trailers

Reminder for Saturday 9/14

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF THESE ON SATURDAY
You not having these things hurts the score of the entire band.

long black socks
long black gloves
MTX marching shoes
BLACK Tshirt to wear under your uniform

Some things you may want to bring:

Food and drink or money for food and drink
a jacket or sweatshirt - it is going to be chilly after the sun goes down!
shoes that aren't marching shoes

Noon-Students meet at school for rehearsal. Please eat lunch before you come!

Rehearse until 1:00pm

1:00-1:30pm- load trailer, relax, bring a snack to eat!

2:30pm-on the road to Morton!

4:30pm-performance

7:15pm-awards

8:30pm-back at DHS

If parents sign out their children at the bus, please remember they are responsible for their own instrument! Which means if you have a trailer instrument you have to arrange to have someone else take care of it.

Make sure students have black t shirt, LONG black socks, LONG black gloves, and their black MTX marching shoes!
