Programs from the Dunlap Marching Competition will be available for $2 at the Year End Celebration tonight.

FRIDAY

All band/flag members report to the band room at 6pm to dress for pregame.
Cadet band make sure to have white shirt, long black socks, long black gloves, and black MTX marching shoes.
After pregame, all band/flag members will sit on the track in our bleachers and play the school songs when we score
Cadet band will watch varsity halftime performance
After the performance, all band/flag members will go in to change out of uniform.  We will load the trailers after changing, so if you have a larger instrument, make sure it gets on the trailer.

SATURDAY

5am-Cadet band bus leaves DHS.  Please arrive before 5am so the bus can leave at 5am. 
6:30am-Varsity band bus leaves DHS.  Please arrive before 6:30am.  Trailer will already be en route to SIU, so make sure everything is on Friday night.
11am-Cadet band performance.  If parents are at SIU, they may sign you out at the bus after the performance.  YOU MUST SIGN OUT!
1:45pm-Varsity band performance.
2:30pm-Awards
~8:00pm-back at DHS.  Please call/text your parents when we get close to Dunlap so rides are waiting.

Due to the weather, the Cadet marching band performance for tonight's football game has been cancelled.  

Monday, Oct. 13th-football game

4pm-rehearsal on the field

5pm-change and eat snack (bring)

Perform at halftime (usually around 7pm)

Change and free to go after halftime

Please remember to bring white t shirt, long black socks, long black gloves, and black MTX marching shoes

 

Friday, Oct. 17th-football game

6pm-meet in band room and change

7:15pm-perform pregame with varsity and MS bands

Stay and watch halftime

After halftime, change out of uniform and free to go

Again, have all parts needed for the uniform

 

Saturday, Oct. 18th competition at SIU-C

5am-BUS IS LEAVING!!!

11am-perform

1:45pm-varsity band performs

2:15pm-awards

Back in Dunlap around 7:30pm

Parents may sign out their student at the bus after the performance if they would like to take them home

Again, please remember to have all parts of the uniform
