Some of the AWESOME Marching Eagles with the Grand Champion Trophy!

They won Best Drum Major and First Place in Class 4A as well.

It was a great ending to a great season.

CADET BAND
FRIDAY - 
                2pm-3pm  Cadet band rehearsal
SATURDAY - 
               8:45 am Cadet band arrive at DHS
               9:00 am Bus leaves - don't be late!!!
                 $$$ Stopping along the way to eat - fast food - bring $$$$
               2:15pm Cadet band performs at WIU
               4:00pm Award Ceremony at WIU
               6:30pm (ish) Arrive back at DHS 

VARSITY BAND
FRIDAY - 
             Varsity band will be rehearsing FRIDAY 3pm-4pm (instead of Thursday night)
SATURDAY - 
              9:00 am CADET Bus leaves for those Varsity members going to cheer them on
              3:15 pm Varsity students arrive at DHS
              3:30 pm Varsity bus leaves 
                   $$$ Stopping along the way to eat - fast food - bring $$$$
              9:00pm  Varsity band performs at WIU
              9:30 pm Awards Ceremony
              11:30 pm (ish) Arrive back at DHS

Highlights include: 

• Need someone to co chair Music Event at DHS on Nov 3
• Directors reports for Choir, Band and Theater
• Opportunity to "ride along" on Choir trip

The Marching Eagles will NOT be marching in the Veteran's Day Parade on 11/11/12.

The Auxiliary (Color Guard) won the caption award for class 4A! Congrats!! Pictures later, it was a late night yesterday!
