"Big Fish" opens tonight at 7:30 pm on Stage 323 at Dunlap High School. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $8 for Students/Senior Citizens and are available at the door. Additional performances are at 2:00 pm on both Saturday & Sunday, January 21 & 22. Box office opens 1 hour before show time and open seating begins 30 minutes prior to curtain. Over 75 DHS students in "Larger than Life" musical numbers take the stage at Dunlap High School as “Stage 323” presents the contemporary musical, Big Fish, directed and choreographed by Robin Hunt. Show dates are Friday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. & Saturday and Sunday, January 21 and 22 at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance through the high school office located at 5220 W. Legion Hall Rd in Dunlap. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The box office opens one hour before show time and seating begins thirty minutes prior to curtain. This year’s production of Big Fish is filled with thrilling, larger-than-life stories, as told by traveling salesman, Edward Bloom. Besides giants, mermaids, witches and circus acts, the show also features a star-spangled USO Show with a tap dance number choreographed by local actress/dancer/choreographer, Tamra Challacombe, and a live orchestra under the direction of Dunlap High School band director, Jill Potts. Dunlap High School is known for their quality productions in all genres of theatre. This year’s production is the largest in “Stage 323” history with over 70 students in the cast. Add to that the backstage crews and student orchestra, and there are around 120 students involved in the production. Title roles are played by Nathan Cuizon as Edward Bloom, Libby Lewis as Sandra Bloom, Adam Raso as Will Bloom and Srishti Srivastava as Josephine.
