Dunlap High School Choral Department

The Choral Department at Dunlap Community High School is comprised of seven performing ensembles. These ensembles include the Master Chorale, the Women’s Chorale, the Concert Choir, the Madrigals, the Court Singers, the Men’s Octet “T.B.A.”, and the Show Choir. The Master Chorale is the advanced performing choral ensemble at Dunlap High School. Members of the DHS Choral Department have performed in New York City at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Ellis Island, Ground Zero, and the United Nations Building. Past tours have included Toronto, Washington D.C., and Cincinnati. Locally our students have entertained at “Yule Like Peoria”, Three Sisters’ Park, Luthy Gardens, the Race For The Cure, various church gatherings, Green View Nursery, as well as other businesses and nursing homes in the greater Peoria area. A committed, diverse group of students, they represent and are active in all extra curricular activities offered at DHS.
Please Note:
- Attendance is required at ALL performances, unless otherwise noted.
- All performances are in the DHS Auditorium at 7:00 PM unless otherwise stated.
- Schedule is subject to revisions and additions with notice. Updates will be posted to the google calendar
- Excuses will be accepted up to one week prior to the performance.
- IHSA Contest participation is required of all Master and Women’s Chorale members. Excuses will be handled on a case to case basis with ample notification.
- No excuses for IHSA Madrigals/Court Singers and Show Choir Contests/Concerts will be accepted. Attendance at rehearsals during a performance week is mandatory.
