Congratulations to our Group Interpretation cast & crew that performed this past weekend at  the IHSA State Drama & Group Interpretation for the third consecutive year.  Their performance was well received by the judges finishing 1 point out of the final round.  DHS was well represented at State this year!!

Thank you to the cast & crew of the Contest Play that went along with us to support the GI cast.  Also a HUGE thank you to all the parents, alumni, family & friends that made the trip to Springfield for the Friday morning performance.  It was great to have so much support in the audience!

Congratulations to this year's Group Interpretation Cast & Crew for placing 2nd at Sectionals and advancing to the State Drama & Group Interpretation Contest.  The casts & crews of both shows did an outstanding job at Sectionals and will be traveling to Sangamon State in Springfield, IL from March 23-25 for the State competition. 

Congratulations to the 12 students that were named to the "All Sectional Cast".  Student's receiving this honor were:  Nathan Cuizon & DJ Henson  for our Contest Play, "For Tiger Lilies Out of Season", and Emma Windsor, Adam Raso, Libby Lewis, Delaney Petersen, Elizabeth Duckworth, Spencer Warfield, Miles McGill, John Rooney, Eli Eveland & Srishti Srivastava for our Group Interpretation, "Savvy".

Tonight is the last night to catch the Contest Play & Group Interpretation performances before they compete at Sectionals on Saturday.  Showtime tonight is 7 pm in the DHS Auditorium.  Tickets are $8 for Adults and $5 for Students/Seniors, and are available at the door.

Congratulations to the Pep Band on their performance at the IHSA Boy's 1A/2A Championship Basketball games this past weekend.  It's an honor to be chosen to play for the IHSA Championship games, as only a select few are receive the honor.  More pictures are posted on the EagleMusic Facebook page. 

The monthly meeting of the Music & Theatre Boosters has been moved to Tuesday, March 14 to accommodate the Mid-Illini Band Festival that DHS is hosting on March 7.  The location will still be the Town Centre.  Meanwhile, here are the minutes from the February meeting:
