Marching Band Schedule for Sat 9/29

Students should be on DHS field at noon for a practice.
Trailer Loaders should arrive at 1:15.
Chaperons should arrive at 1:45.
Band performs at 6:36
Awards Ceremony at 8pm

Students should bring money or food for dinner.

Contest Play – TBA

The 40 minute play and audition dates will be announced as soon as possible.  This production will go on the road to compete with other schools.  This is an IHSA sponsored event and therefore anyone in the cast or crew must sign a school athletic code.  Please be sure to attend a meeting prior to the beginning of 2013.

Show dates:  March 13-14, 2013

Sectional Competition:  March 15-16, 2013

State Competition (If qualifying):  March 22-23, 2013

Students participating in this event may need to be available to spend the night out of town depending on the location of the Competitions and the time slot we perform.

Musical – “All Shook Up” Practice for Audition Pieces

featuring the music of Elvis Presley. MANY lead roles with a large company. Great dance numbers Tuesday, October 30 3:30 to 5:30 Audition/choreography workshop – practice the audition dance and read through the scenes in preparation for the audition Thursday, November 1 3:30 to 5:30 Music workshop – learn the songs that will be used to audition Tuesday through Thursday, November 6-8 “All Shook Up” auditions. You will sign up for a one hour audition timeslot. Show Dates – January 18-20, 2013
