THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Thank you doesn’t seem enough to express how much we appreciate all the support we received through The Key Campaign to refurbish our grand piano. To our Madrigal, Court Singer & TBA students - your entertainment was a wonderful addition to the chili supper. To our featured performers - what a treat to hear you all sing & play for us, everything from Classical to Rock to Musical Theater to Pop. Each performance was fantastic! To those who were collaborative instrumentalist - you made the performers shine. To our Master of Ceremonies, Toni Redlingshafer - you are a jewel that we treasure so much. To the combined DHS Chorale, the collaborative vocalists from the Peoria Area Civic Chorale, the brass players from DHS and community partners, the organist & the perucussion - outstanding job performing Rutter’s “Gloria”. A truly difficult piece not normally performed at the high school level, but you performed it beautifully. To the numerous people who worked behind the scenes to make the dinner, concert & key sale a huge success - you did a fabulous job with everything you did. To Ms. Reece & Mr. Shea – thank you for taking your vision and making it a reality. We are truly blessed to have both of you, as well as all our outstanding music staff, in the Dunlap school district. And lastly, to all our donors - whether it was your ticket purchase, key purchase, lid donation, or Middle C bid, we couldn’t have raised the money needed without your generosity. Our goal was to raise the remaining $16,000 to pay for the refurbishing of the piano. We are pleased to announce that the grand total raised through The Key Campaign was $14,878!!! We are ecstatic to have raised so much toward our goal. We still have a bit to go, but WOW is all we can say today. Thank you again!!! Check out our Facebook page, EagleMusic, for pictures of the concert. Due to the winter storm & power outages today, The Key Campaign Concert has been postponed until SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22. The rehearsal schedule, dinner & concert time will all remain the same as today. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but it is unavoidable.
This Saturday is The Key Campaign Concert at 7:00 pm! Tickets will be available at the door. The box office will open one hour before the concert and open seating will begin 30 minutes prior to the concert.
If you purchased an advanced ticket that includes the chili supper and have not received your tickets through your student yet, your tickets will be available for pick up at 5:30 when the dinner starts. We are over half way to our goal to fund the piano refurbish & refinishing. All the $50 "Keys" have sold and we only have 23 of the $100 "Keys" left to sell. We are still accepting any & all donations. If your donation is over $200 your name will be listed on the "lid" of the piano. The live auction of "Middle C" will take place during the break the night of the concert. Should be fun to see who ends up winning the auction. The faculty & students have been working hard to prepare for the concert and what a concert it will be!! Rutter's Gloria promises to be amazing, especially accompanied by our fantastic brass & percussion group. The featured performers have been practicing their selections too. Check out our Facebook Page, EagleMusic, to see information about featured performers on the concert. Feel free invite your Facebook contacts to the concert using our event page too! The Key Campaign is one week from today & we are so excited! All $50 "Keys" have sold!! We only have 33 "Keys" left to sell at the $100 level, and of course all donations over $200 will be listed on the "lid" of the piano. We will continue to take donations once all "Keys" are sold, however. And remember we will be live auctioning "Middle C" the night of the concert.
