5:45am Depart Dunlap High School (fast food breakfast stop en route)
8:30am arrive at DeKalb High School
Senior Orchestra:
8:30-Seating at DeKalb High School: Auditorium
9:00-12:00- Rehearsal
12:10-1:00-Lunch: DHS Cafeteria (Boosters have paid for student lunches already)
1:00-4:30- Rehearsal
4:30-5:00-Dress for concert.
5:00-5:30-Seating for Concert in Auditorium
5:30-Concert in Auditorium
Note: There is a $5.00 concert admission fee per adult for each of the Jazz, Junior, and Senior concerts. Children, students, and senior citizens will be admitted free of charge. Doors open 15 minutes before concert time. The Junior and Senior Band/Chorus Concerts will be held in the Competition Gym of DeKalb High School 501 W. Dresser, DeKalb. The Junior and Senior Orchestra Concert will be held at DeKalb High School in the Auditorium.
Students are expected to ride home with parents after the performance. The bus will not be staying after dropping students at DeKalb High School. Dress for the performance is white shirt and black pants/skirt (at least knee length skirt). Students may want to bring money for the breakfast stop, but they won’t need any money for lunch. Our lunches have been pre-ordered.
