Dunlap High School student Hannah Bond has been named one of the winners of the Illinois High School Ten Minute Play Festival. Hannah submitted a piece entitled “Partners in Crime,” which she wrote for the DHS theatre class spring showcase project. As one of the winning playwrights, Hannah will see her work performed by students at Eureka College this fall. The DHS theatre class produced the short play themselves as part of their student-directed showcase in April, the theme of which was “Heroes & Villains.” Hannah’s work, “Partners in Crime,” is a comedic piece which explores the idea that being a hero or a villain is all about perspective, and that even so-called ‘bad guys’ can do good. Hannah is currently the Student Director for the fall play, "13 Past Midnight". The DHS theatre students and Eagle Music are incredibly proud of Hannah & very excited to see “Partners in Crime” produced by the Eureka theatre department on November 20th edit.
