Congratulations to the students participating in the ILMEA District 2 Band and Chorus Festival at Augustana College on Sat., Nov 12. Also to the students participating in the ILMEA District Orchestra Festival in DeKalb, IL on Sat, Nov 19.
Interested students auditioned in early October for the annual event. Selection is made by state judges based on performance of selected music, sight reading, scales & triads.
The concerts at Augustana are at 4:15 for the Junior Chorus (7th-9th Grade) and 6:30 for the Band & Senior Chorus (10th-12th Grade). The Nov 19 Orchestra performance in DeKalb is at 5:30 pm.
